Gardening

Our Parish Gardening Group is dedicated to maintaining and beautifying the church grounds, creating a peaceful and welcoming space for prayer, reflection, and community. Through their hard work and care, our volunteers ensure that the gardens flourish, providing a place where nature reflects the beauty of God’s creation.

As we are reminded in Genesis 2:15, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” This reflects the importance of tending to the land entrusted to us, ensuring it remains a place of growth and renewal. Our gardening group embodies this spirit, working together to nurture God’s creation and enhance the surroundings of our parish.

From planting flowers and trimming hedges to keeping paths clear and tidy, every task plays a vital role in preserving the natural beauty of our church grounds. In the words of 1 Corinthians 3:9, “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.” Through their dedication, our volunteers help to build a community that reflects God’s love and care.

New volunteers are always welcome – no experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved! If you enjoy gardening or simply want to help keep our church grounds looking their best, we would love to have you join us.
