Sunday 11th  This year the Church celebrates the 160th anniversary of the first Apparition of Our Lady to Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes on 11th February 1858. Archbishop Cushley will be Chief Celebrant at our 10.30am Mass on Sunday 11th February. Canon Urquhart is also happily able to join us. St Bernadette’s Primary School has generously offered to host a finger buffet after Mass and so for catering purposes please add your name to the sheet on the Notice Board if you are hoping to join us for the buffet. Please also let Fr John know if you know someone requiring transport to and from Church and / or the School.
Getting married this year ?   Couples are required to approach their parish priest at least six months before making any firm plans for a wedding in church in order that appropriate preparations can be undertaken including meetings with their priest, attendance at local marriage preparation sessions and completion of necessary paperwork. Please speak to Fr John if you are planning to marry this year.
Anyone involved in ministries working with vulnerable adults or children must have a valid PVG certificate and must also attend training.  If anyone has not yet attended training, you MUST do so as soon as possible.
